Do you ever see yourself become different people?

You are out somewhere, in a crowd within some social gathering, and the situation calls for a mellow, relaxed, almost shy approach. Or you are rather shy, but you are drawn to someone at a party and the desire to speak to that person turns you into this larger than life self-assured, very confident human being who will stop at nothing, (well, almost nothing), to start a conversation.

Such description could be such of an actor! An actor is that multi-faceted individual who can become a lot of different people. Of course natural talent cannot be replaced by acting skills, which can only be obtained through proper training. All Hollywood agents will tell you. They know. Speaking of Los Angeles talent agents, training without representation means nothing. At International Creative Artists, the Post-Secondary Institution Licensed in the State of California, we know that very well!

The key in this business of referals, is not only how trained, how natural, overall how good you are. It's also whom you know.

Los Angeles talent agents don't go to the mall, notice you and ask you: "Hi, you are so pretty, well, we have this production company that's doing a movie with Julia Roberts and Bratt Pitt. Julia got sick and cannot make it. Could you take on the leading role? Oh yeah, I'm sorry you probably want to know how much you're going to get paid. You heard of Julia's pay check! So that'll be twenty five mill!"

And then you wake up!!

No for sure, the film industry doesn't even employ untrained new talent when it comes to small supporting roles. There, they also want to attach a household name, or talent who have been booking guest star appearances on TV for instance, verses co-star appearances.

So will you ever be on that A list that everybody wants to make? Probably not. Am I telling you that it is not worth it? Of course not. All our graduates read these Press releases, and the last thing I would want to do is to discourage them! You can. You can be a working actor, and a money making actor. I don't know that you would become a star. But I do know that natural talent, hard work, dedication, commitment pay off, if you manage to put yourself within the right environment.

International Creative Artists can be a home to your hard work and dedication. You can grow with us and obtain representation through our placement program. We are not the only good school. We are the one with the most outstanding placement program. My opinion is that you should be weary of schools that are not franchised with the State Of California.

I am using "I" in the following paragraph to express how each and every individual needs to be a creator. This is about what you need to tell yourself using the first person. Such affirmations are the first step towards creating an unprecedented future for yourself:

Don't only wake up with that feeling of

"I,whom I am, can do it all".

Go to sleep at night with the feeling of:

"Each and every day gets me closer to my goal, as I am a succesful actor! And tonight I am grateful, I am grateful and thank The Universe for everything I am and the unprecedented future that I have created for myself as I am buiding bigger and better things each and every day of my life".

The Universe is unlimited. Go get what's yours...

Meanwhile, if you have a dream, be a creator. Feel it. Wake up in the morning with that intent in your guts, that feeling of:

"Everything is possible if I say so".

After all, you can create your own reality.

It's that feeling of:

"I am whom I say I am". Of course, water is wet and rock is hard. Don't dream of being Angelina Jolie, if you look like Roseanne. If you look like Roseanne, there is nothing wrong with that. If you are as talented and funny as Roseanne is, you are in excellent shape. And if you look like her, don't loose the weight! Don't get high cheek bones put in. You may look in a way that you like better, but say bye-bye to the sitcom you want to book. Especially if you want your own sitcom! Magdalena Zielinska is the only stand-up comic I know who gets away with looking like Cameron Diaz/Uma Thurman, and being as funny as Julia Dreyfus from Seinfeld.

Ask yourself: "where do you fit?" What role can be yours?

And where you fit, is what you go after!

This Press release is not intended to be a recruiting ad for International Creative Artists. You are welcome to enquire, so long as you understand that yourself or your child may not be accepted. You will have to go through our evaluation process.
