Three Florida moms invite women to say good-bye to dull bachelorette parties, dreary dinner gatherings, and other dull-as-dishwater girls' night out activities with a new interactive game experience Girls Night Out Will Never Be The Same. Co-creator Jodi White says the game was developed by "three lifelong girlfriends (including Helen Beierlein and Michelle Everhart) who still enjoy and certainly need our girls' night out each and every month."
Unlike other "For the Girls" games, Girls Night Out Will Never Be the Same gets participants up-and-out of the house "where too many women are stuck bored and wondering what to do for fun," says White.
Beierlein adds, "It's a game for women to bond with their friends and go a little wild, too. Players earn points with a series of truths, dares, and other unexpected activities including scavenger hunts.
Girls Night Out Will Never Be the Same also includes a deck of cards with words and phrases. The phrases go from silly (Groovy, baby) to sultry (succulent) to flat-out provocative (I'm dead sexy)."
"To earn points, the players try to get an unsuspecting stranger to say them," laughs White. "The results can be hilarious. And nothing combats stress better than laughter."
Doing It All...At A Risk
Like most 21st Century mothers, White, Beierlein, and Everhart have very busy lives. They are trying to raise children, work, and keep a household going, which is no small feat. They knew that the stress was getting to them and with no time to let loose, the tension was building to a dangerous level.
"Amazingly, we found that being able to look forward to spending just a few hours to blow off steam once or twice a month went a long way towards disarming the situation," says White. Just as amazing, she says, was the research that explained and supported what the women were experiencing.
Women and Stress
In research conducted by Dr. Shelly Taylor, it was observed that female animals from different species have a different stress response than males. Males under choose flight or fight, while females who are stressed form alliances with other females. Taylor refers to this as "befriending."
"Women need other women," says White. "And we think that Girls Night Out Will Never Be The Same makes it fun and interesting for women to get together and have a good time every time."
Endless Night -- The Fun Keeps Coming
These three Florida mothers pride themselves on giving customers more with their purchase. "We follow up with every customer after the sale to see how they liked the game," notes Everhart. "And we really listen to the feedback."
"We use feedback to help develop ideas for the future that we'll be sharing free with our customers," adds Beierlein. "We have great free giveaways and our monthly girls' night out tips means that our customers never have to scratch their heads and say, 'What do you want to do?'"
The Dull Alternatives
"I've gone with friends to lifeless bars, dinners that turned into a gripe or gossip sessions, and parties that weren't really parties at all," says White. She characterized them as nothing more than the same old friends sitting around doing the same old thing.
Worse, she says were the so-called parties that turn into ploys to buy make-up, spa products, or kitchenware! "
"We understand that planning a girls' night out that's fun for everyone can be a challenge," says Everhart "So we worked hard to make sure that Girls Night Out Will Never Be the Same is just as entertaining for the really wild girls as it is for our 'sisters' who are a little more shy."
"It's for any woman who needs some time to relax," says Beierlein "And that's every woman."
